You can find out about the annual Spread Eagle "competition" here. Each year Nick the landlord finds it more and more difficult to choose his 12 favourite photos for display in the pub throughout the following year - our members' photography must be getting better! This year's theme was "animals in Motion". You can find the winners on display in the frame to the LH side of the main bar in the Spread Eagle.

          The winners were :
          1st Prize   : "Great Egret in Flight" (shown left) by Alan Edwards
          2nd place : “Cornering” by Carol Sparkes
          3rd place : “Icelandic Ponies " by Alan Edwards
