We meet in the Function Room upstairs at ‘The Spread Eagle’ pub, Eagle Brow in the centre of the village:
the 2nd & 4th Wednesday of the month except during August

January 11th “Timeshift: An introduction to time-lapse photography” with Stephen Lewis. Featuring timelapse videos and demonstration of the equipment used.
January 25th Club AGM followed by a practical exercise on image resizing and other image editing ‘Top Tips’
February 8th “40th Anniversary Tour” with the returning Tillman Kleinhans. Images from a trip along the legendary Route 66
February 22nd Members' Evening:  Bring up to 8 images on the theme – ‘Bridges’.  Then tell us about your photographs.
March 8th Exotic Wildlife Photography with Sheila Davies
March 22nd L&CPU Folio evening – view of winning prints from around the region.
April 12th “Lightroom Exposed:  An introduction to LR” with Terry Hewitt. What is does, how to use it, and it integrates with other products.
April 26th “Fine-tuning your photographs” with Brian Law. A talk looking at the factors that can enhance your images.
May 10th In-House Competition Night

Part 1 will be judging those prints that have been displayed in the library - members need do nothing for part 1 - Dave C will organise)
Part 2 will be of digital images, on a theme of "Open" (i.e. enter images of any subjects you like!) - please submit up to 3 digital images (with the image title included in the file name)
May 24th “It's a Kind of Magic” with Pam Greenland.
June 14th Photoshop Surgeries with George Steele. An examination of images submitted on the night, and steps to improve them. Members : submit 2 images that need to be improved.
June 28th Club Outing – Manchester City Centre: architectural opportunities and street photography.  Meet at St Peter’s Square.
July 12th Members evening - "How Good is your Plagiarism?"
Members : choose a photograph/image/painting/album cover (for example) and attempt to reproduce the image in a photo in the style of that photographer/artist. Digital manipulation and imagination encouraged.
July 26th Members' Evening:  Bring up to 8 images on the theme of – ‘Something beginning with D’ ...and not ‘B’ as anticipated, just to keep you on your toes :). Please try to think of a good title !
August No Meetings
September 13th Members Evening: Looking at photos from the Outdoor Event and other Lymm Village summer events.
September 27th “Arizona to Alcatraz” with Paul Wiliamson. .  Including canyons, the madness that is Las Vegas, and the famous island prison.
October 11th "Moments in Mono" with Neil Hulme
October 25th George Franks - High Speed Photography. Bring your camera and flash for a hands-on practical lecture.
November 8th “Time and Tide” with David Bibby. An exploration of Assynt and the North West Highlands.

Members Evening:  The outcome of three common images manipulated and modified  by the members.
Closing date for Spread Eagle calendar competition submissions on the subject "Animals in Motion". Up to 3 images please. Images should be titled and re-sized to 1024*768 Pixels - Guidelines for re-sizing are on the LPS website
December 13th The ever popular Christmas fun night to see which photographs our favourite landlord - Mr Nick Harris, selects for the Spread Eagle competition.  Theme - Animals in Motion.
