Our members take all kinds of photographs!

Between us we take photographs of a wide variety of subjects including....

Street scenes, animals, people, landscapes, travel, nature, night scenes, black & white and more.

We sometimes set a challenge to members to try to take photos on a theme, For example colours, book titles and we learn from each other how we might improve our photographs. We also have external speakers to bring us new ideas and techniques.

Speakers

We have access to the Lancashire & Cheshire Photographic Union (L&CPU) speakers and also welcome other speakers too and are always open to suggestions!

Technical Help

We are always happy to support each other. We run technical and practical evenings which may be lead by one of our members or professional speakers

Projects

We embrace a challenge, and projects are a great way to learn and grow together as photographers and we always welcome suggestions for ways to stretch us and learn more

Critique Evenings

We try to keep critique positive and lighthearted, taking all opportunities to learn and grow without taking ourselves too seriously
